FIEF BUILDINGS PACK - Available again if we get to 100 copies!

Noble Backers,

we have very good news concerning the Buildings Packs. In short if we get at least to 100 copies ordered, the Building Packs will be a available once again.

As discussed in the comments section, due to the high demand, the FIEF Building Packs were no longer available for a few days. We've been actively trying to find a solution to this issue, and - thanks to BackerKit support - we are trying to make them available once again for everyone.

We've set up a "Stretch Goal Add-on" of the Buildings Pack on BackerKit: this means that if we get to 100 copies ordered, those who missed the opportunity due to limited availability, will be able to get the Buildings Pack. 

If you could not get the early copies available, all you have to do is add this new addon to your order (click the image):  

The system will automatically do the thing:  if we get to 100 copies ordered, you'll receive your copy of the Buildings Pack and be charged accordingly. If we don't get to 100 copies ordered, you will not be charged for it and the item will be removed from your order automatically. Obviously those who got the pack before it sold out are not affected by this Add-on: they'll receive their copy nonetheless, as long as they keep the old Buildings addon item in their cart, and if they want they may get additional packs by adding the new addon to their order.

The miniatures come unpainted, but should you want to have them painted, you may get in touch Raphaël (from pika GAMES) to asking for a quotation. Here's an example of some of the painted miniatures:

We will keep you posted as we move closer to the 100 copies we need to make the pack a reality once again.

Vous êtes nombreux à souhaiter acquérir les figurines des bâtiments et nous vous comprenons tant elles participent à l'immersion dans FIEF.

Bonne nouvelle, nous venons d'avoir la confirmation qu'il serait possible de produire de nouvelles boîtes mais il y a un minimum de commande à atteindre et nous avons décidé de profiter d'une nouvelle fonctionnalité offerte par BackerKit : les paliers, pour créer une extension Bâtiments dont le palier est 100 exemplaires.

Si ce palier est atteint, nous produirons les nouvelles boîtes. Il ne s'agit pas du minimum de commande requis par l'usine, loin de là, mais cela nous aidera. Il suffit de cliquer sur l'image suivante pour accéder à cette extension "Palier".

Si vous ajoutez cet élément à votre panier et que le palier est atteint, le montant total de votre souscription sera mis à jour et vous recevrez la boîte des Bâtiments. Si le palier n'est pas atteint lorsque nous fermerons le gestionnaire fin octobre, la boite des Bâtiments sera automatiquement supprimée de votre panier.

Ces figurines ne sont pas peintes, par conséquent, si vous êtes intéressés par les faire peindre, nous ne pouvons que vous inviter à prendre contact avec Raphaël (pika GAMES) afin qu'il vous renseigne sur ses tarifs et délais. Ci-dessous, un exemple de réalisation :

Our friends at Phalanx have just launched the KS campaign of SuccessorS, the fourth edition of one of the best strategy wargames. ASYNCRON games will take care of the French localization, yet the game is available in English, Spanish, Czech and Polish* on Kickstarter.

When Alexander the Great died in 323 BC, he left no clear heir to the immense empire he had conquered. It was not long after his death that the Macedonian generals began to war among themselves over who would be the regent or successor to Alexander's empire. We'd like to thank you all for your continued support and take advantage of the opportunity to remind anyone who's not yet accessed the Pledge Manager to check their inbox for BackerKit's email containing the invitation to join the Survey to access the Pledge Manager. Giant Mat Shipment

This section is only for those who plan on getting the FIEF Giant Neoprene Mat, or for those who pledged (or plan to get) the FIEF Comte/Duc Packs (which contain the Giant Mat).

The cost of the shipment is based on your Region and on the total weight of your order - except - for the "FIEF Giant Mat". Due to its non-standard length, despite our and BackerKit's best efforts, we could not include the shipping cost of the Giant Mat into BackerKit's automatic calculation of the shipping costs.

For this reason the shipping cost of the Giant Mat will not be displayed on your Cart's total shipping cost. If you add the Giant Mat as an add-on to your order, or pledged for a Comte or Duc Fief Pack (which contain the Giant Mat), the cost to ship the Giant Mat will be added automatically to the total of your order (in addition to the shipping costs displayed) when your Credit Card is charged - but it will not be displayed on the Cart's total! Upgrade Kits

Those of you who pledged for 50€ or 90€ during the KS campaign and/or on BackerKit will receive the updgrade kits for FREE (we talked about those on Update #7 here).

• If your total pledge (KS and/or Backerkit) is 90€ or more, you will automatically receive either:
               ► The ♦ FREE KS FIEF France ♦ upgrade kit or
               ► The ♦ FREE FULL FIEF France ♦ upgrade kit.
  In this case we will get in touch with you after you complete your order, to ask for your preference. 
• If your total pledge (KS and/or Backerkit) is 50€ or more, you will automatically receive the ♦ FREE KS FIEF France ♦ upgrade kit.

Please note that the FREE kit will not be shown on your Cart when you finalize your order, but it will be added to your order automatically later. You may also add to your order any other non-free kits you want, you will receive the free kit anyway. This means that the priced Upgrade Kit addons that you see on BackerKit are for those who do not qualify to get a free Upgrade kit, or who want to get more of those.

In the end we'd like to share with you a work in progress concerning the Pantone coding of the colors to be used to paint the miniatures.

Chacun d'entre vous a reçu une invitation de la part de BackerKit dans sa boite à lettre mais il reste de nombreux souscripteurs qui n'ont pas encore répondu. Pensez à contrôler si le courriel d'invitation n'est pas tombé aux oubliettes ! Si vous ne retrouvez pas votre invitation, il est possible d'en demander une autre à cette adresse en renseignant l'adresse courriel que vous aviez utilisé lors de la campagne.

Coût additionnel pour l'envoi du tapis géant FIEF France

Ce paragraphe concerne ceux d'entre-vous qui ont souscrit (ou qui projettent de le faire) aux Packs Comte ou Duc (qui intègre le tapis) ou qui souhaitent prendre le tapis géant à  part.

Comme nous l'avions annoncé, il y a un coût d'envoi additionnel  pour le tapis. Le coût d'envoi et de préparation de tous les autres  éléments est basé sur le nombre d'éléments, le poids total et le pays de  destination. Mais à cause de son format, le tapis ne peut pas être  intégré au colis principal et il est nécessaire de procéder à un envoi à  part. Pour cette même raison, BackerKit n'affichera pas ce coût  additionnel.

Par conséquent, si vous êtes souscripteur d'un Pack Comte ou Duc ou bien si vous ajoutez le tapis géant à  votre souscription, BackerKit ajoutera ce coût additionnel lors du  paiement même si ce coût ne s'affiche pas sur le montant total à payer. Vous pouvez regarder sur cette page de combien est le coût additionnel en fonction de votre pays.

Les Extensions Thématiques

Ceux d'entre vous dont la souscription totale (Kickstarter + Backerkit) est de 50 ou 90 euros recevront gratuitement un Kit de mise à jour (voir la nouvelle #8).

FIEF Pledge Manager now OPEN!!! Production Update, Giant Mat Shipping and The Thematic Expansion!

The Pledge Manager

Noble Backers,

during the heart of the summer and after many pitfalls to avoid, we are happy and relieved to finally inform you that FIEF's Pledge Manager (BackerKit) is NOW OPEN for the KS backers! We will then publicly open access to late pledgers in a few days.

You - KS Backers - will receive a personal invitation by mail to join BackerKit's survey within the next 24-48hrs. The deadline to complete your order in BackerKit is *** 31st October 2019 at 11:59PM (GMT+2) ***.

Remember that your pledge, and thus your credit will automatically be transferred to BackerKit, and that you will be able to select any further Pledges (Stretch Goals included) or any optional buys you want. You will also be able to confirm your shipping address and insert your Credit Card's details to pay for the shipping costs or for further items you may want to get.

Remember that some addons are available in limited quantities (Metal Coins, Thematic Expansion, Giant Mat, 3D buildings).

To fulfill your FIEF rewards, we are working with the best shipping partners on the market, they are Meeple Logistics (Europe, East Europe, Russia and overseas) and Quartermaster Logistics (USA/CAN and rest of the world). They have a well-known experience with Kickstarter fulfillment, so we are fully confident they are going to prove reliable once again.

Production Update

A few days after the end of the campaign, MIMIKIDZ (our former partner) suddenly got back to us with increased manufacturing prices. After long discussions, we could not manage to reach a fair agreement. Fortunately, as we received this news, we promptly got in touch with other manufacturers. It took some time to choose a new partner and achieve a satisfactory production deal but in the end we sealed a deal with GAMELAND – which is now our new partner. The bad news is that there is going to be a delay in production due in large part to this change, which also implies a longer shipping time from China, than from Tunisia (former one). We prefer not to set a specific delivery date for the moment, but we will keep you posted on the evolution of the production.

The good news is that this new partnership makes us absolutely confident for the good development of the project. GAMELAND provides the quality insurance we expect with regards to the manufacture of painted miniatures, for which we now have mechanical parts (Minis that clip to their bases, Crowns and Title that need to fit together, Staffs to fit on the bases).

Giant Mat Shipment

The Thematic Expansion

We have amazing good news concerning the Thematic Expansion! We are appy to confirm that the long awaited THEMATIC EXPANSION will be available in the Pledge Manager as addon for you to add to your pledge!! 

The Thematic Expansion will be available in the PM in [FR] and [ES] languages. Please be advised that - even though the Politics Deck has cards with text describing attributes for the Lords - the Expansion has an overall low language dependency. Furthermore we plan to make available an [EN] print and play file of the Politics Deck on ASYNCRON's webshop once the PM closes.

Le Gestionnaire de Souscription (GS)

C'est le coeur de l'été et après moultes embûches, nous sommes soulagés et heureux d'ouvrir enfin le Gestionnaire de Souscription (GS) BackerKit de manière privative ! En effet, l'ouverture publique et l'accès aux souscriptions tardives ne se fera que dans quelques jours.

Vous devriez recevoir une invitation par courriel à rejoindre le GS au plus tard d'ici 48 heures. Vous aurez ensuite jusqu'au 31 octobre 2019 à 23h59 (GMT +2) pour renseigner votre adresse postale indispensable à l'envoi des colis. Votre niveau de souscription et le montant associé ont été automatiquement transférés sur BackerKit. Vous pourrez régler les frais de port en conséquence mais aussi acquérir des produits complémentaires.

Notez que certains éléments complémentaires sont disponibles en quantité limitée : pièces en métal, figurines des bâtiments, tapis géants et extensions thématiques.

L'acheminement a été confié à Meeple Logistics pour l'Europe zone euro, l'Europe de l'est, la Russie et l'outremer. Pour les USA, le Canada et les autres continents, c'est  Quartermaster Logistics qui sera notre partenaire. Ces deux sociétés sont réputés pour la qualité de leur service et nous sommes en toute confiance avec. Le coût d'acheminement et de préparation des colis que ces sociétés nous proposent est celui que vous aurez à régler : il s'agit donc d'un prix coûtant.

Retard de production

Quelques jours après la fin de la campagne, MIMIKIDZ (qui nous avait accompagné jusqu'alors) nous a signifié des changements de prix délirants à la hausse.  Après de longues discussions, il n'a pas été possible de parvenir à un accord équitable. Nous avions fort heureusement entamé des discussions avec d'autres fabricants à la suite de cette très mauvaise nouvelle et cela a demandé beaucoup de temps avant de choisir un nouveau partenaire afin d'aboutir à une solution de production satisfaisante. Notre nouveau partenaire est GAMELAND.

La mauvaise nouvelle va être un retard de production conséquent en grande partie à cause de ce changement qui implique en outre un temps d'acheminement plus long depuis la Chine que depuis la Tunisie. Nous préférons ne pas donner de date pour le moment mais nous vous informerons de l'évolution de la production en temps réel.

La bonne nouvelle est que nous sommes, grâce à ce nouveau partenaire, rassurés et confiants pour la suite. GAMELAND nous donne en effet toutes les garanties de qualité que nous attendons concernant la fabrication de figurines peintes pour lesquelles nous avons des éléments mécaniques (socles qui se clipsent, couronnes qui s'emboîtent, crosses qui s'insèrent).
