This is a quick update to remind anyone who's not completed the PM Survey that you have until ***October the 31st ***to complete your Pledge Manager order(2days left). After that date we will lock your orders and charge your credit cards accordingly.

We are also halfway through unlocking 100 extra copies of the Buildings Pack. If we get another 50 copies ordered, those of you who missed the limited availability addon, will be able to get the buildings pack thanks to this Stretch Goal addon. Obviously those who got the pack before it sold out are not affected by this add-on: they'll receive their copy nonetheless.

Production Update
By the end of the month, we expect to receive the pre-production samples from the factory. This step will let us validate them and allow the fatory to start manufacturing the molds. Our forecast for the end of production and start of the shipments is for beginning of 2020, but we'll be able to provide more information once the molds are ready. Verifying the samples is one of the most delicate step and we plan to show you a video of the samples as soon as we receive them.

Du côté de la production
La prochaine étape, nous espérons d'ici la fin du mois, sera de recevoir de l'usine les échantillons qui nous permettrons ensuite de lancer la fabrication des moules. Une fois cette étape passée, ce sera un gros morceau de fait et, en vérité, le plus délicat. Nous serons content d'être à ce moment.

Noble Backers,
The crowns have been forged, the Bishops' Staffs have been carved and the banners manufactured... all in 3D! Please see the prototypes of the Miniatures and of the Titles System in the video below - it's in French but you may see the components in action nonetheless. It was a great joy to hold the prototypes in our hands and see how well the system works; we hope seeing it with your eyes will make you as happy as it made us! ;)

Miniatures Work in Progress and Tric Trac Gold prize for the best Historical Game!

Noble Backers,
The life of an independent publisher is far from being a calm river, but rather a river where a moment of stillness precedes rapids. In this update we’ll talk you about an issue we’ve had to face and fix in the past days.
We have been in touch with our manufacturer so to start the production of the 3D miniatures and accessories along with a first sample of a painted miniature to show you. But our former miniature partner has not been willing, or could not, or actually did not want to provide us with the source files of the 3D renderings of the 3D accessories. This is an issue, because we found out that the files we managed to get from them have design flaws that needed to be rectified so to ensure that the interlocking parts designed for the Titles System and the mini’s bases work properly. The files we managed to get from them are not the source files, thus we could not edit them.
Fortunately, one of ASYNCRON’s shareholder has expertise in this field and has re-designed from scratch all the 3D pieces of the Titles System and the bases and here are some images of the result:
The aim now is to have these accessories 3D printed to validate the mechanical and interlocking parts in order to send the new files to the factory which will then be able to finalize the first step. We are sorry for this slowdown, but happy to say that despite the rapids we had to face, the project is fully progressing – and we hope this is of reassurance to you as well.
We take advantage of this update to also inform you that on the occasion of the Paris Open Games of History, the website Tric Trac (which is comparable to a BGG in France) will award a Tric Trac Gold prize for the best wargame, even if we prefer to call wargames “Historical games” ;).
We are happy to inform you that the list of nominees includes Hannibal & Hamilcar and Wings of Glory. Therefore, if you like these games or if you want to support ASYNCRON games to keep on making these games available and more accessible in France, we invite you to vote for them.

La vie d'un éditeur indépendant n'est pas un long fleuve tranquille mais plutôt une rivière où chaque moment d'accalmie précède toujours des rapides.
Nous sommes en relation avec l'usine en vue de réaliser la première étape qui consiste à faire imprimer, en 3D, toutes les figurines et accessoires, ainsi qu'une figurine peinte, pour vous montrer le rendu. Mais voilà, l'entreprise M. ne souhaite pas, ou ne veut pas, ou ne peut pas, nous délivrer les fichiers sources des modélisations 3D. C'est un problème car les fichiers fournis par cette entreprise M. (que nous ne pouvons pas modifier) ont des défauts de conception et nous devons les corriger pour nous assurer que la partie mécanique fonctionne (emboitement des figurines, des crosses et des étendards sur les socles, empilement des couronnes entre elles). Sans fichiers sources, pas de correction possible.
Fort heureusement, l'un des actionnaires d'ASYNCRON possède des compétences en la matière et il a modélisé à nouveau tous les accessoires : voici quelques exemples en image.
L'objectif est de faire imprimer en 3D ces accessoires pour valider la fonction mécanique afin de transmettre les fichiers à l'usine qui pourra finaliser la première étape. Le projet avance donc malgré ces rapides qui nous ralentissent...
Nous profitons de cette nouvelle qui n'est pas franchement bonne mais finalement presque rassurante pour vous informer qu'à l'occasion de l'Open des Jeux d'Histoire Paris, le site Tric Trac va décerner les Tric Trac d'Or catégorie wargame même si nous préférons appeler cela jeu d'Histoire, moins réducteur.
Il se trouve que sur la liste des nominés figure Hannibal & Hamilcar et Wings of Glory. Par conséquent, si vous aimez ces jeux ou si vous souhaitez qu'ASYNCRONgames poursuive sa stratégie de localisation de ce type de jeux, nous vous invitons à voter pour eux. Cela aidera aussi à la démocratisation du jeu d'Histoire en francophonie.

Quick follow up mail concerning how to add further items to your order.
Remember that - if you are a Kickstarter pledger - to add any addon to your order in the Pledge Manager ***you have to use your personal survey link you received form BackerKit ***.
So, to recap, if you want to add any addons to your order, or modify it (for example adding the Buildings Addon we talked about in the previous update):
If you pledged on Kickstarter, please use the survey link you received from BackerKit. The same that you used the first time you confirmed your reward. If you can't find it please use this link to recover your personal survey invitation from this page. You will receive a mail with a link to access your order details.
If you haven't pledged on Kickstarter, and instead you are a Late Pledger, you may use the Late Pledge Access, reserved only for Late Pledgers.
